Worth becomes conditional before we ever realize we've accepted the bargain. We learn to believe that acceptance waits for us on the other side of achievement, approval, or becoming someone different from who we are today. The finish line keeps moving, and every version of ourselves feels valuable only until another expectation takes its place. After enough years, those expectations stop feeling external. They simply become the way we see ourselves.

The work asks whether fulfillment can ever be found through accumulation, achievement, or approval, or whether the search for "enough" itself prevents us from recognizing our inherent worth.
