As Above, So Below explores the relationship between mortality and transcendence, drawing upon one of the central principles of Hermetic philosophy: the idea that patterns repeat across different scales of existence. Two mirrored arms extend through the composition while a human skull occupies the space between them, creating a visual axis that links the earthly and the eternal, the material and the symbolic. The work suggests that what unfolds within an individual life may echo larger forces beyond immediate perception.
Created as part of the Oracles series, the painting examines the systems, beliefs, and archetypes that shape identity.
